Linda to offer encore performance Aug. 13
Back by demand, Linda Thompson of Southport will perform “Heartbeats: A Cabaret of Poetry, Readings and Songs” on Wednesday, Aug. 13, at Seychelles dress shop, 242 Post Road East in Westport. The free event will support the release of her new novel, “I Am My Own Dragon,” and take place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wine and cheese will be served. For those also interested in shopping, 15 percent will be taken off all purchases.
Broadway actor to share stage for reading & cabaret
Tony Award-winning actor Kristin Huffman will join Linda for a performance of Broadway and popular songs, along with readings from Thompson’s new novel, “I Am My Own Dragon.” This much-anticipated, free event will take place from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, July 26, at The Spa at National Hall, 20 Wilton Road, Westport.
